Thayne and I were able to go to Utah for Christmas this year. I've been to Utah twice in the past few months and Thayne had to stay here both times. I was so happy to have him with me this time. Our plane had some trouble landing due to another plane skidding off the runway. Bags were delayed and the airport was packed. We got in a few hours late but atleast we were there. All of my family was together for Christmas. We played games, went swimming, 
opened presents, 
played Wii, 
ate lots of yummy food, 
looked at the mountains (Thayne is obsessed), 
got new hair-dos, 
and played basketball. It was lots of fun.

Thayne's grandmother passed away while we were in Utah so we were able to see all the Gardners and Henries. It was the first time Tyson and I had met most of them. Thayne's grandma had been sick for a long time and while it was sad that she passed away it was good timing for us since we were already in Utah.

Thayne and I had a little Christmas with our family before we went to Utah. I made us matching pajama pants. If they shrink much when I wash them, they won't fit us. That's okay, it was fun while it lasted. 
Tyson once again loved the packing peanuts.

The PJ pants are very cute - fun holiday trip idea. Hey, if you fit them as long as Tyson fits his, then it's good - you can all be cute together.
I didn't think about how much of the Henries you had not met before the funeral. It's great that you've got at least a once-thru of nearly all the family. (minus about 4 cousins, i think - wow!)
I'm so glad it was good timing for you, me, and many of us to all be there.
I see Tyson at the TV, at the bookshelf (LOVE the smile in that one!!) and think... ah, okay, so that's what Lila will be up to in 6 months or so...

Also... in the ice cream picture.. do you each have your own bowls of caramel(T) and fudge(N) ?? I've never seen that before.
How old is Tyson, now? Canden loves to pull movies off the shelf of our TV Stand. I don't even try to keep him from them anymore. Thank goodness we don't have too many.
