We tried to get in to General Conference. Barely missed the cutoff. We had fun playing with Grandpa, Daniel, and his kids while we waited.

He falls asleep so easy

We went to Twin for the first couple days of fall break. We ate out, had family pictures, went hiking, watched the bridge jumpers, saw lots of waterfalls, ran along the canyon, visited our old ward, and hung out with Grandma Gerry and Grandpa George and the Bulkleys. The visit with Gerry and George was pretty hysterical. I forgot how vulgar/dirty Gerry could be and the older kids were dying. Driving by our old house in Twin was fun. We didn't stop because there were people outside but we got a good drive by shot. 

TJ split his head open on a trampoline at the Buckley's house.  He was super tough and only cried for a minute. It's pretty similar to Jojo's cut from a couple years ago at Canyonlands. She got stitches. He was superglued.

On the way home from Twin, we took the kids to a korean BBQ for my birthday. We relaxed and played the rest of the week. We went to Rush Funplex, this is the place, hiking, bike ride in the canyon, and a corn maze. We also had a Van Tassell Family reunion at Michelle's with Lane and Chris visiting and then went to Gene and Tammy's homecoming the next day.

We were entertaining/playing with the cutest little girl one Sunday in church. I brought these cups for my lesson and she loved them. 

We hosted dinner one night before a cross country meet. Those boys can eat a ton!

Thayne and I were asked to help out with the Where's Maldo activity. New ward, old costume!

Thayne's aunt is moving and she gave him a crystal bowl with a note in it that said, "Wedding gift to Una Viola Pratt and John Davis Giles 20 June 1906."

Halloween 2024 - Kenzie was the queen of spades, TJ was a teenage mutant ninja turtle and Jojo was a baby again. Thayne, TJ, and I went to lunch that day as well and helped out in the kid's classrooms.
