Family Update

Thayne has been super, super busy with school, his calling, and trying to keep us happy over the past month. Poor guy. School has been everything it was hyped up to be this year and has been tough on him (and me) over the past month or so. We have had a little bit of fun around here.

Melissa and I took Kandis to the Chocolate bar for her birthday this week. The desserts were very rich and amazing. We went during lunch time and we were the only people there which was a good thing with our three crazy little ones. The first picture is part of the mess that Hugh and Tyson made. Melissa had already cleaned up part of it. Tyson really wanted to eat Hugh's cheerios so I let him have some and he threw them up part way through our meal. Quite disgusting! By the way restaurants.com helped pay for our lunch, $10 gift card for $0.60!

Tyson and Hugh went to one of the free classes at the gymboree. They had a lot of fun. I would recommend everybody go to the one free class but the classes are super expensive after that. My budget definitely can't afford it. Tyson had fun until some little girl whopped him on the head. He wanted to stay super close to me after that incident

Thayne and I even got out on a date with just the two of us. We had bought a $25 gift card for $2 through restaurants.com at the Friar's table. While the food was exceptional,we felt a little out of place. We split a plate and were later informed that normally there is a $10 surcharge for splitting a plate. Talk about ridiculous! The manager greeted almost every other table but didn't give us the time of day. The place was to upscale for us. We weren't sure how to act and felt a little like fish out of water ordering our split plate of food and water. However, look at Thayne's steak. Doesn't it look scrumptious? You can't see my crab legs very well but they were also awesome.

can't keep my pants on

Tyson has been crawling for about a month now. He's learned all the nifty things he can do while he crawls. He gets into everything and seems to find every little thing on the ground that I missed while vacuuming or sweeping. He also loves the computer. I left the computer on the floor one day while I grabbed something from the other room. I came back to this scene. Look at how big everything on my computer is. It took me a minute to figure out how to get my computer to go back to normal. The second picture is from church last Sunday. Tyson kept losing his pants as he was crawling around the floor. I was surprised the first time he crawled up to me with no pants on. I found his pants on the floor about 15 feet away. I put them back on and then found out what was happening. It was pretty funny to watch.

Blog book

Yay!! I finished my blog book a month ago. I love it. I'm going to try and make a book every 6 months. It will be fun for our family to look back at these books as our family grows older. If anybody wants to know how to make a blog book, feel free to contact me.
