Tyson and the firetruck
Last week we had playgroup at the firestation. The kids thought it was awesome. I thought it was awesome. I could have passed on the major tantrum Tyson threw as we were leaving but I love hearing Tyson point out all the firetrucks and firemen.
I found my camera cord. It was right where I left it. That's been my brain lately. Overall, I feel like we're adjusting well to having two kids. Sleeping has been different for all of us since Lexi arrived. Tyson thinks he needs to sleep on a sleeping bag on the floor now. Every night he asks for his "slee bag." Maybe he thinks the baby needs his bed. Maybe he just wants a sleepover with a friend or maybe he's practicing for camping this summer. I don't know but it's a battle I'm choosing not to fight at this point. Lexi slept in a laundry basket for the first month or so. It fit her perfectly. I should have taken a picture. She's recently graduated to sleeping in her car seat. I tried her crib, pack n'play, our bed, and her bouncy seat. She prefers our bed or her car seat so I usually put her in her car seat now. Lexi usually wakes up every hour or two. We're all a little sleep deprived but she's starting to do a little better. I hope. Tyson now thinks we need a bigger cart at the grocery store. He likes Lexi up front and mommy or daddy next to him. Now if I can only figure out where to put the groceries. We all love little Lexi Jo. She's such a great baby. Mommy loves to hold baby. Daddy loves to see baby smile and Tyson loves to play horsey with baby sister.
