Korean night

While living in Buffalo, we have periodically hosted Korean night. We invite anybody Korean or that served a mission in Korea. My favorite is that my good friend Jen English is included. She is korean but was adopted by an American family when she was 2. Uijoo makes some killer bulgogi. She taught me how to make it this time and I can't wait to try it myself.
Not very Korean but I made sugar cookies for dessert.

Homemade KimChi from the Finleys. Apparently you can learn to do anything from youtube.
I made ChapJae and it was delicious. Once again, thank you internet!
Uijoo's bulgogi - this stuff is AMAZING!
The Finley's had already left but we got most of the adults

UB Pedo 2013

Thayne recently had his graduation dinner from UB Pedo. It was a nice night with good food, great gifts, and wonderful people. We are so grateful that he got in to Pedo and the program here has definitely been a blessing for our family. They have helped Thayne to grow in skills and confidence and also been a program where the family (usually) doesn't have to take a back seat. It's been a great change from dental school. We are excited for our next adventure and will always remember Buffalo.

lasts

Recently we have been doing things for the last time. We went to Palmyra, Niagara Falls, Duff's, and DiBella's for the last time. We forgot the camera for most things but here's our last trip to Niagara Falls.

Canalside

I bought a groupon a couple months ago to take a tour of the ships downtown. It was such a great family outing! The kids loved the maze through the ships. Tyson pretends like he was a submarine in the water or a destroyer ship all the time! Thayne was always one of the good guys and mom was the enemy.

I love when they want me to take their picture together!

Thayne is on the shorter side of guys. How do they sleep like this?

Thayne went to Orlando for a conference at the end of May. I decided not to go because of finances and kids. I was okay with that until a week or so before he left and then I really wanted to go. He had a lot of fun and I'm glad he had a good time. We missed him and will go with him next time hopefully!! He did good and actually took pictures. Way to go babe!
