 Kid's funny phrases

Jojo calls boogers nose poop

Kenzie and Jojo: Yo mama so nice that she makes us cupcakes! (They laugh like crazy after telling their yo mama joke)

Lexi: You know how Tyson is protective of TJ? Mom is like that with Dad.

Jojo: Can we go there sometime? (Points at a a cemetery with a burial happening.)

Me: You want to go to the cemetary?

Jojo: Yes, there's a big party over there. Look at all the people.

Me: Yeah, somebody died. That's why they're all meeting.

Jojo: so we can go sometime?

Jojo: Did you hear my butt burp?

Jojo got sent to her room for throwing a tantrum. I called up to see if she was ready to join us again. She said, "I can't. My smile is down."

Lexi to Tyson: Have you started your period? I haven't.

Tyson: What's a period?

Jojo: When you get married you dance in the dark.. (pause) in california.

Me: Your dad is a sheet hog. (he takes all the sheet in the middle of the night)

Jojo: and a groundhog … and a hedgehog.

Kenzie: A boy in my class made me this hat … but we're not in love. It's okay mom.

Jojo's favorite gift at Christmas was tape.

Jojo: I just tasted TJ's pee.

Me: Oh yeah? How did you do that? (He still had a diaper on)

Jojo: It was disgusting.

Dad: We will hold a family counsel. Then, we will vote and the powers that be (parents) will decide on everything.

Jojo: Dad! I have to tell you something! Esmae's dad is 100!

Deacon's went to a military base for YMs. Tyson loved climbing the rope.

One of Thayne's mission companion's parents spoke at Stake Conference. Thayne had fun catching up with his parents. Side note: The mom is President Nelson's daughter.

Hiking fun!

I helped plan my 20th reunion. It was a fun night for me. Thayne was a trooper and came along.

Thayne and I went to girl's camp for the evening.

$3 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point are the best! TJ loved the farm.

And summer dollar movies are the best!

I've been so excited to take the kids to a demolition derby and it did not disappoint! Jojo participated in the half time show. She and a bunch of other 3 to 5 year olds chased around a man with money attached to him. She was very pleased with the couple dollars she got.

Ice blocking for activity days

First day of Kindergarten!

A couple of girls from Thayne's office got Covid. Thayne and I thought for sure we had it too. We had runny noses and a few other mild sypmtoms. We got tested and we were negative. We were shocked it was just a cold.

The house on the land we bought finally got torn down. It was lots of fun to watch.

The kids want to walk to school every day no matter what. We were drenched by the time we got home. I think we'll drive next time the weather is like this.

Lexi, Kenzie, and Tyson started school. Jojo started a week later. They're all loving school and the girls have done a good job switching schools and making friends.

Thayne did priesthood blessings for school. Even TJ wanted one. Kenzie was bawling during hers and then Jojo decided to follow suit. Sweet kids.

Our friend from dental school is an author and was having a book signing event in Provo. We got to go eat lunch and spend the afternoon with her and my friend Kandis (also from dental school). She gave Lexi signed copies of a few of her books. Lexi has a new hero. It was lots of fun to hear about her journey and see most of her kids.
