Whit threw a surprise 40th birthday party for Daniel. Thayne was in charge of getting him there. He took him to lunch and then was supposed to get him to Uncle Gene's. Jessica would call during lunch and say she was having truck issues and that Daniel was to blame since they borrowed the truck earlier in the week. Little did we know that Daniel had other plans and had set up to drop off a Lego set in the other direction. They eventually made it but we're quite a bit late.  When they got there, they came in through the garage and we were all around the front door and so our backs were to him and he surprised us. After ice cream, we went swimming. We ended up in the instacare because the basketball fell on Lexi's head and she got 12 staples.

We went back to the old ward for the 4th of July breakfast. After breakfast Kenzie helped a momma duck get her babies to the lake. It reminded me of herding cows on the farm. They made a line and noise and shooed them in the direction they wanted. We went boating and then at night we went to the park with Daniel's family and grandma. We had dinner, played some games, and watched fireworks.

TJ fell asleep on Kenzie's drawers one day. 

Thayne took his staff to a Bee's game. It was over 100 degrees and we were melting and so grateful when the sun went down. I hope they bring the train with them when they move to Daybreak next year.

We can still walk to church! It's a little longer but the littles love it. The big kids usually drive in still.

The biggest event in July was Jojo's baptism. She was so excited and loved all the attention. 

Later that night we joined Zuzu's family for the mural they are painting in her honor. 

Provo's Temple 2 Temple run 2024. Parking was trickier this year and we got started a little late but we had fun.

Fun at Michelle's again. We took the long way back through Brighton and walked around the lake real quick while we were there.

We took a quick trip to Panguitch Lake. We forgot to take a key but luckily contractors had been working at the cabin and there was a key hidden (phew!). We were freaking out a little when we realized we left the key. Thayne loves the cabin. On our way home we went to the rodeo, got BYU ice cream, and had a delicious dinner in Panguitch.
