Hawaii: part 1- traveling

Thayne, Tyson, and I traveled to Hawaii last week for a dental conference that Thayne was presenting research at. Tyson did really well on MOST of the flights. The first flight we got on Tyson got motion sickness and threw up everywhere. They cleared out the row behind us and the row we were sitting in. Then during our layover he blew out of his diaper and I learned that I should have packed him more than one extra pair of clothes. He wandered around in his diaper and shirt for the rest of the day. He was very entertaining in LA during our layover. He would crawl beside the stroller and people kept asking us how old he was. I'm sure they thought our child couldn't walk. Tyson found a ramp and ran up and down the ramp for about an hour. The first 30 minutes Thayne and I joined in but he quickly wore us out. Melatonin worked to help Tyson take a nap on the plane. (Tyson doesn't sleep when he can see people.) Other than those incidents Tyson did awesome. We got a few comments that he was the best behaved toddler. However, when we got home he wouldn't sleep the next night. His schedule is still whacked. Hopefully the 6 hour time difference will work itself out soon.
