Watched surfers/boogie boarders biff it at Waimea
Ate a whole pineapple next to the beach
Snorkeled
Skipped rocks
Smelled plumerias
Hiked in Haula jungle
Met with the Bassets
Ran to temple beach
Shrimp truck
Matsumotos shaved ice
Jojo’s shaved ice
Got patted down at the airport
2 flight delays
Played the cost guessing game
Played gin rummy
Hot pot dinner
Baskin robbins
Marriott resort pools
Peed on the beach

Stuck in traffic constantly on Oahu

Struggled to find parking

Woke up from Laie boys blasting music and colorful languate
Vannebego

Lived in a van down by the river
Swap meet
Church in pearl city
Couldn’t find open restrooms Sunday morning (or food)
Woke up on beach
Saw different parts of Oahu that we haven’t experienced before
Made a friend with a rooster named goose
Sang aloha oe
Hiked in the rain.
Saw a bunch of waterfalls
Ate at porky’s (grilled cheese pork)
Listen to a conversation about whether sweet or sour poi was better
Rented a car and it was upgraded to a dodge challenger
Rented a studio apartment, and it was upgraded to a two bedroom
Lived in a van for the first 3 1/2 days and it was a tiny van

Van wouldn't go over 45 without shaking
Rained and rained and rained on Kauai
Did an ocean puzzle
Ran 9 miles
Ran through rain
Ran and saw waterfalls
Ran to the ocean
Saw the mountains crying with waterfalls after rainstorm
Flash flood notice
Hike to beach after run
Tried açaí bowls and chicken katsu
Got stuck in our upgraded apartment
because of rain
Got attacked by a baby chicken that wanted our food
Played on the beach
Chased waves
Drove to the waterfall from fantasy island
Saw a lighthouse
Walked along Waikiki
Ate Korean food on Waikiki
Someone told us about his healing prayer
Another person told us about Jesus
(Regular people are missionaries here)
Walked Las Waikiki (felt just like Vegas!)
Rode public transit
Thayne was given “special” beans (tea) to heal covid and everything
Thayne gave a pass along card to someone on the bus
Was rained on inside the bus
Talked to a lot of nice, warm, friendly, outgoing people
18 hours on plane, used bathroom 0 times
Left slc at 3:30 am, returned at 2 am

The hike we did later is to that waterfall in the distance.

This rooster followed us for awhile.

Pictures don't do it justice. It was soooo cool.

This little bird kept trying to steal Thayne's food. It didn't take no for an answer and wasn't afraid of him at all. There are signs around this area saying the chickens are feral.

Tyson even hugged me when I got home.

The kids had fun with grandma while we were gone.
