Lexi

Lexi, you are our sweet, firecracker. So mellow most of the time but when you explode you sure make ripples. You are really good about playing independently and with your sister. You struggle more with Tyson but you both want to do things your own way and so Kenzie makes an easier playmate for you. You don't have a lot of close friends so you call everybody your best friend. It's really cute but sometimes I feel bad that you don't have tons of friends like Tyson did when he was your age. However, you seem fine with this and choose your sister over friends when they are around.
There was a day that you got into the nail polish without asking and had painted your hands, feet, and a barbie. It was everywhere. Luckily not on the carpet or anywhere else we couldn't clean up. You took one look at me, burst into tears, and informed me you made a bad choice. Maybe that was a ploy to get out of trouble but you have a sensitive little heart. I showed up to dance class to pick you up today and was a couple minutes late. You cried for a good 10 minutes. If I threaten to leave Kenzie or Tyson somewhere, you always beg me not to. It makes me laugh. You are very easy to have around and are a pleasant, happy soul.
You are still hard to understand sometimes. I'm hoping that you'll blossom in Kindergarten. You love your teachers and always tell me how good you are and that you don't talk much. I'm your teacher at church and I believe you. You love school, letters, and books but don't have much interest in reading. It's all on your own timing and shut down when we try to push you.
You are shy but love attention. The primary presidency loves when you get up to say anything because you're really funny. Remember when you gave the prayer in primary and went off on Tyson on how bad he was and that Santa wasn't going to bring him anything.
I'm so glad you are part of our family! We love you!

Lexi's birthday cupcakes
Here's some funny things Lexi has said recently:
"I want to see cousin Pepper. I want to giver her cold back. I don't want it anymore."
"I love my porn pops" (corn pops)
"Grandma dance castle" (Grandma Van Tassell)
"I'm so mad I'm not asleep" (We took her to the BYU ballroom concert. She was so tired and it started after her bedtime but she was glued to it the whole time. She loved the princess dresses and dancing. It was a lot of fun)
One day the power was out and we were stuck at a light that wasn't working. She kept insisting they just needed new batteries like the ones in our flashlights.
"The dads are so big and the moms are so almost big."
"We went to the Holy Ghost Temple with Aunt Joy once. Jesus lives there." (temple open house)
"What's that smell? I think it's sweaty rainbow colors."
"Santa is waking me up sometimes so I'm tired"

Lexi loves broccoli and peanut butter sandwiches. Goofy girl

Her new scooter she got for her birthday.
