Laundry room remodel. Sam built floor to ceiling cupboards and installed a pocket door to the bathroom off the laundry room. Thayne helped with demo day.

Thayne's newest hobby is making a Thor hammer. He made a small prototype first that has become TJ's hammer.

I still can't run so I decided to get my half marathon miles by hiking. Tyson, Lexi, Thayne and I hiked from grandma's house in Lehi to the Draper Temple. It was about 14 miles and took us a lot longer than we originally planned. It was 100 degrees and we went through a LOT of water. There was a steep hill that was harder than we thought it would be. It felt hard but it could just be the heat that was making it so awful. Lexi struggled a bit in the middle. The rest of the kids and cousins met us for the last couple of miles. We hiked on the Sunday of pioneer day weekend and then had a small fireside at the Draper Temple. Thayne brought conference talks about the pioneers.  

In the distance you can see the mountain we had to cross. It felt much bigger when we were trying to get over it. We kept thinking we were at the top and then we'd get there to realize there was still more... :(

We rode the Heber Creeper for Grandma's birthday. The kids danced their hearts out. We all had so much fun :)
