Thayne and Nat getaway

Thanks to grandma, Thayne and I escaped on a little getaway to Las Vegas in September. We had so much fun. We ate and slept at all hours of the day. We went to a David Copperfield and Cirque Du Solei show. We stayed at the New York, New York hotel. Our room had a hot tub in the room. It's so fun to spend time with just Thayne. It was the best!

The lobby/casino area had giant donuts (and cronuts!!) and crepes that were so fun to get.

We visited with one of Thayne's mission companions. It was fun to see some of the pictures from their mission.

The Bellagio Gardens are fun to see.

Cirque Du Solei shows are always interesting. They threw a sheet over the whole audience at one point. So weird but cool.

We were meeting a friend from dental school in St George and had a couple hours to kill. We decided to try and go to the temple. Luckily we had just bought Thayne a couple of suits (finally replaced the mission suits!). We grabbed me a dress and barely made it in time. Thayne was embarrassed without his white shirt, tie, and church shoes. The temple people were so nice and said it was great that we came in. They said we could come in shorts, t-shirts and flip flops. I love it!
